Muslims are not allowed to stand up for themselves

We are living in extremely contentious times these days.  Islam and Muslims are under siege in virtually every facet of their lives and Islam.  Every muslim country has some type of turmoil.  Even in Muslims in kafir countries are being arrested and harrassed.  Not that I am complaining, just illustrating that this is par for the course.

Frederick Douglass once said

“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”

If there is no struggle, there is no progress.  America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future.

Patrick Henry, an American Revolution hero said,

Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

Allah says in Quran:

Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds.
(  سورة محمد  , Muhammad, Chapter #47, Verse #35)

According to some estimates, there have been 6.3 million muslims killed related to the USA invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq.  That works out to 700,000 per year or approximately 2,000 innocent men, women and children killed per day by the USA invasion into muslims lands, under the guise of “War on Terror” and “Weapons of Mass Destruction”.

All over the world, muslims are angry, upset, anxious, vengeful, that their muslim brothers and sister are publicly suffering and the muslim armies and governments are not only silent, but working hand-in-hand with the USA and its European Allies in this turkey shoot.

If you study the history of European settlement in the Western Hemisphere, you will see stark similarities what was happening then and what is happening now.  The people native to the western hemisphere (ie Indians) had their lands invaded; they were considered heathens and savages; their homes were destroyed, lands taken, and women and children slaughtered; and the Europeans were considered the “good guys”.

The USA justified such actions by referring to this “war” as “western expansion”.  If an entire Indian village was slaughtered, it was “their fault” for resisting the advances of the “white man”.  If the Indians retaliated, and fought the “white man”, it further infuriated the masses of people and the government was then justified in increasing its force upon these indigenous people and slaughtering them wholesale.

Today, the USA continues invading muslim lands, taking resources, killing women and children and oppressing civilizations.  It is all justified in its “War on Terror” and as a result the population of the USA and the world in general either support or turn a blind-eye to the atrocities being committed.

Alhamduliillah, there are muslims who are standing up to this naked agression, and may Allah grant them victory in every place.  However, this is not coming without a cost and has little support from the 1.5 billion muslims on the planet.

Why? Because Muslims are not allowed to stand up for themselves.

Israel is allowed to have American Jews leave Brooklyn, New York and travel to Israel to kill muslims and steal land.  This is all legal and supported by the USA and the UN.  However, if a Somalian in Minneapolis wants to go help in his homeland, he is arrested by the USA as a terrorist.  Even though he poses no danger whatsoever to the USA.

Global media coverage of the atrocities committed by the USA are similarly askew.  Muslims are kidnapped from foreign lands and sent to secret torture chambers to be interrogated by USA and foreign agencies, in an effort to thwart any defense raised by the muslims as their brothers and sisters are being laid to siege.

Everyday, in Occupied Palestine, muslim lands are pilfered.  Homes destroyed.  New Jewish settlements erected, even in spite of being deemed illegal by the world body.  But the world turns a blind eye.  The atrocities happening in Occupied Palestine are continuous and too numerous to enumerate, thus numbing any empathetic senses.

Even the internet, with its presumed open-ended “free speech” edict has also supported the suppression of any support for the plight of Muslims.  Muslims cannot support their fellow brothers who are standing up for the rights of Islam and Muslims to exist.  Facebook and other ISP’s are constantly on watch and under directions by governments and corporate entities to curtail any positive spin put on supporting the killings of Muslims.  Any such comments are looked at as supporting terrorism, and thus deemed illegal.  However, any support of the wanton slaughter of muslims is acceptable and people are continually allowed to “Support their Troops”.   Muslims are NOT allowed to support their troops

Fox New can daily post comments made the USA State Department as it assassinates muslims in foreign lands.  These comments are made with a positive spin as American “victories” in the “War on Terror”.  No mention is ever made if such assassinations are legal.  Little is mentioned about how many innocents are being killed.  Even worse,  people are being killed based upon “American intelligence” without proof or a trial, but merely because the USA says so.

However, without supporting terrorism, but to support the legitimate right of people to defend themselves against any agressors, if a muslim posts videos showing the Mujahideen advocating defense against American agression, these videos are removed, accounts disabled, and ISP’s give notice of pending closures.

All of this is to be expected, because the truth is that there is indeed a war going on.  It is the same war that was fought against Pharaoh, though he said that Moses was only here to create trouble, the truth is that Moses was there to fight against Pharaoh’s tyranny.

This narrative is only written to remind people of the reality of today’s situation.  And imagine if during the American venture to take Indian Land, there was a Facebook or an Internet, and you posted information supporting the numerous Great Chiefs, you would have probably been arrested for supporting the enemy, considered un-Patriotic, and worse.

But the truth is, you would have been right.

    It is not a solution from me, or you, or anyone else. The solution has been laid out the Book of Allah and the sunnah of His Messenger. One of them is to remove our Love of Dunya and Our Fear of Death. And THAT is a lot. And there is much more to it.

    On second thought, a more practical solution is to awaken the muslims from their slumber. And that will be no easy task. Firstly, in the course of your awakening them, you will run afoul of these same communication pitbulls waiting to harrass and arrest any muslim who exhorts the ummah to awaken.

    If you get past these hounds, you then have a populace that is generally more interested in watching soccer than applying Islam in their lives. Many muslims think things are fine, just the way they are.

    Our job is to warn and remind, Allah guides.

    Another aspect that is particulary sad about this entire scenario is that our Imams, Scholars, Preachers and Leaders are noticeably silent. Presumably out of fear of these same entities.

    The FBI is continually trapping Muslims. If they can’t find terrorists, they find some young man and turn him into a terrorist. It works to their advantage of keeping the people in a state of constant fear, it keeps their security budgets secure, and it also results in headlines and promotions.

    So that is just one more aspect of why muslims are not allowed to stand up for themselves.

    But truth be told, Allah is weeding out the believers and the strong from the weak and hypocrites.

      See that’s what im talking about, I agree with all of the above, so what should we do? The people seem to love soccer more, majority of the Ummah thinks everything’s going great, they are happy living their lives without caring for anybody else, most of them would consider us ( by us I mean those who care and want to stand up ) insane, and the same with the scholar – they dont seem to think that there’s a problem, I’m not talking about those in the West, those in the Middle East, India etc., to them we are just idiots who listen to some radical on the internet and since we have no better thing in life to do, we get brainwashed by them!

    What to do? Firstly, Believe in Allah, trust in Allah, work towards Jannah and not dunya. Love your salat.

    Second, learn the apply the sunnah of the Prophet in all aspects of your life. Do not reciprocate harm with harm.

    Thirdly, teach what you know, enjoin each other in truth. Speak against the evil.

    Forthly, Fear not the blame of the blamer, Never capitulate. Be patient with the adversity which inevitably comes in the consequence of standing up for truth.

    Lastly, never act cowardly, yet move wisely and trust in Allah.

    Great post akhi…it seems as if anybody who cares for the ummah is deemed a crazed radical fumdamentalist while anyone who loves the dunya is a sensible moderate

    Attorney Rejects FBI/CIA Request To Inform On His Muslim Clients
    Placed on the U.S. Government’s Terrorist Watch List

    August 21, 2011 “AAN” – -The attorney-client privilege assuring confidentiality between the two parties is one of the most cherished rights of the American law system, but according to internationally recognized lawyer, author and professor Francis A. Boyle of the the University of Illinois-Champaign, government agents violated that privilege in a jarring summer 2004 visit.

    Speaking to The Arab American News, Boyle confirmed recent reports that he was visited by two agents from a joint FBI-CIA anti-terrorist fusion center located about a 90-minute drive away in Springfield, Ill. in his office in Champaign, who attempted to persuade him to become an informant on his Arab American and American Muslim clients.

    He said he repeatedly refused their requests to violate his clients’ constitutional rights, only to find himself placed on the U.S. Government’s terrorist watch list.

    “There’s five or six of them, and my lawyer informed me that I’m on all of them,” Boyle said

    “I filed an appeal but they told me, sorry, I would stay on the watch list forever until the agencies that put me on there took me off.”

    Boyle, who has represented several high profile Arab and Muslim clients in the past, also said the agents repeatedly questioned him about interviews he has given in various international media outlets that were critical of U.S. foreign policy towards Arab and Muslim countries. Similar reports have also come out including a recent one about agents allegedly spying on University of Michigan professor and writer Juan Cole.

    Boyle’s visit began innocently enough as the two agents introduced themselves to Boyle’s secretary, he said.

    They identified themselves as businessmen who wanted to speak with him about matters of international law and were wearing suits and ties, looking reputable. Boyle let them in.

    “They misrepresented who they are and what they’re about to my secretary,” Boyle said.

    They also gave him no indication that Boyle would be placed on the terrorist watch list after leaving what Boyle called a “nearly hour-long interrogation.”

    Speaking of interrogations, Boyle was subjected to one an hour and a half long upon returning from a lecture in Canada at the end of the summer of 2004.

    The pattern has continued for Boyle, who has a Ph.D in Political Science from Harvard University specializing in International Relations and has authored books such as “Biowarfare and Terrorism,” which links the U.S. biowarfare development to the October 2001 post-9/11 anthrax attack on Congress, and “The Palestinian Right to Return Under International Law,” which was released in March 2011.

    “I was flying in from Malaysia and two armed federal agents on the jet port saw me and my passport and took me into custody; they said ‘You’re coming with us,’ and two guys with guns you’re not going to argue with,” he said.

    “After searching me they said they were looking for someone on the watch list but not you, of course; how many Francis Anthony Boyles are there in America?”

    Other extensive searches of Boyle occurred in Switzerland and Chicago.

    He’s still waiting for an explanation as to why he was placed on the terrorism watch list and concerned about the future.

    “I’m not supposed to talk about clients’ business to anyone let alone to become an informant on them, that violates their constitutional rights and also my ethical obligations as an attorney to maintain privacy,” Boyle said.

    “Whether you like lawyers or not, we’re sort of the canaries in the mineshaft of democracy, the first line of defense.”

    An article in Criminal Justice Magazine in Summer 2002 said that immediately following the September 11 attacks against the U.S., then-Attorney General John Ashcroft issued a controversial order that permits the government to monitor all communications between client and attorney when there is ‘reasonable suspicion’ to ‘believe that a particular inmate may use communications with attorneys or their agents to further or facilitate acts of violence or terrorism.’ The order raises constitutional concerns under the First, Fourth Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments according to authors Paul Rice and Benjamin Saul.

    Boyle believes that the rights of attorneys and anti-war critics as well are under attack, as is the Constitution in general as many analysts have been saying.

    “They’ve gone after many other lawyers, and what they did to Juan Cole doesn’t surprise me either,” Boyle said.

    “We’re living in a police state now and what people really need to understand, especially Arabs and Muslims, is that the police are not their friends,” Boyle said.

    “No Arab or Muslim should talk to the FBI without a lawyer present, you have to be very careful dealing with these people.”

    Boyle noted that about 1,200 non-citizens were rounded up immediately after the 9/11 attacks and that the only charges brought against them were actually for routine immigration violations or in some cases ordinary crimes as asserted in the 165-page report “America’s Challenge” about civil liberties, domestic security and national unity after the attacks, released by the Washington-based Migration Policy Institute.

    More than one million people are currently on watch lists according to a USA Today report in 2009, but Boyle believes he’s in more exclusive company on a list of about 5,000 people who were asked to be informants.

    Guarding against unjust tactics in the name of security is something that should drive Arab Americans and Muslims, and others, he said.

    “Arabs and Muslims and their supporters have to get organized and stop assuming the FBI is their friend, and to set up watch committees and inform themselves as to their rights under the law., and fight back in court,” he said.

    “It’s only going to get worse…the FBI and the CIA are completely out of anyone’s control. And Arabs and Muslims are going to have to sit down and figure out how to combat this,” he said.

    Boyle said they should band together to demand that the Department of Justice re-institute the Edward Hirsch Levy Guidelines, which terminated the FBI COINTEL spying program and were revoked after 9/11 by then-Attorney General John Ashcroft. He also said the communities need more lawyers and journalists to fight on their behalf.

    He remains concerned about the possibility of retribution against he and others should another attack occur but plans to remain firm in his commitment to his country and its ideals of freedom.

    “It feels sort of like a loaded gun sitting there,” he said. “But I was born here and I will stay here as a U.S. citizen, and stand and fight for the rights and future of this country.”
